Simply put, the bigger your fleet, the more battle power you bring to the fight. More troops means more kills, and more of your own troops make it out alive. Fleet size comes from lots of different places, and this guide shows you every one of them.
Every commander starts with a base fleet of 10,000 troops. You get it automatically, and everything else in this guide adds on top of it.
Troops Expansion is a buff item. When you use it, it adds 25% to your fleet size. It doesn't boost the fleet you get from merit rank, badges, the Island or officers.
It comes in two versions, and you can earn either one from game rewards or buy it with gold. The 2-hour version costs 1,000 gold, and the 8-hour version costs 1,800 gold.
Advanced Troops Expansion adds 30% to your fleet size for 1 hour. You can only get it from event rewards.
It doesn't stack with Troops Expansion, so you can only use one or the other.
Fast Expansion is a commander skill that adds 10% to your fleet size for 1 hour, and it stacks with either expansion buff.
The percentages add together, they don't multiply: 25% + 10% is 35%, not 37.5%.
President +12%, Marshal +6% and General +5%. Like the expansion buffs, the percentage only boosts the parts of your fleet marked "Multiplied by fleet expansion boosts", and it adds to them: a President using Troops Expansion and Fast Expansion gets +47% (12% + 25% + 10%).
Set each drop-down to where you are now, and the total at the top adds it all up. Each card also shows its max potential.
